BIG30 stands up for his hood in Protest video
Memphis is definitely becoming a hip hop hot spot. The truth is that Memphis always had the potential, but they city was overlooked. Gucci Mane, though, was always good at spotting talent, and his focus was never solely on Atlanta. Through his career, Gucci has worked with several Memphis artists, and BIG30 is now signed to his new 1017 label.
BIG30 is becoming a dominant force in the game. Last year, BIG30 went from being a freshly signed artist to having songs with Moneybagg Yo, Pooh Shiesty, and members of OTF. What is overlooked, and even forgotten, is that BIG30 was originally Moneybagg Yo’s artist. Also, in the case of Pooh Shiesty, like Moneybagg Yo, he is a Memphis native, and he is also signed to 1017.
There have been a lot of changes around BIG30, through the past year. But, BIG30 has developed a consistency with his music. Yesterday, BIG30 came up big for his hood with the “Protest” music video. For the past few months, BIG30 has kept music out. With his latest release, BIG30 turned his hood all the way up.
