Benny The Butcher Plans To Put Out Upcoming Collaboration With Drake as a Freestyle [VIDEO]

Benny The Butcher continues to be one of the hottest lyricists in the game, as he’s put out multiple projects this year. This includes his “The Plugs I Met 2” EP in March, along with the “Pyrex Picasso” EP, earlier this month. That all came after dropping his “The Burden Of Proof” album in October 2020. The Buffalo rapper is also venturing on his “The Burden of Plugs Tour” this fall.

Benny revealed a while back, that he has a Drake collab in the stash. He also previewed it last week, during his performance at Summer Jam. Now, the Griselda Records artist is now giving more insight as to when this will drop, in a new interview with Adam 22. Benny says that the plan is to put it out as a freestyle.

“He hit me the other day and said ‘let’s drop it as a freestyle’. I know he’s doing shit and working on his album. Same thing with me. He’s just trying to pick the right spot cause it’s something he and I want to do. It’s about picking the right spot.”

Hopefully, Drake and Benny lock in a release date for this collab soon. It’s definitely been one of the most anticipated ones of 2021, especially after the way Benny has won with every release.
