Bam Adebayo joined the Miami Heat in 2017. Eventually, Bam Adebayo replaced Hassan Whiteside as the Heat’s starting center. Despite Bam Adebayo being three inches shorter than Whiteside, he has proven to be a better fit. In 2019, the Heat moved on from Whiteside. As a result, Bam Adebayo became the Heat’s starting center. Not only did Bam Adebayo win the NBA’s Most Improved Player award, the Heat also went to the NBA Finals.

Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat were given no chance in the 2020 NBA Finals. Despite this, the Heat won two out of three games, after going down 2-0. It turns out, the Heat almost pushed LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers to a Game 7. Instead, the Lakers won the title as expected. Due to an abnormally long season, Bam Adebayo and the Heat played the Lakers for the title in October. As a result, both teams lost in the first round in 2020.

Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat are trying to go back to the NBA Finals. Early in the game, the Heat led. Adebayo did his part to bring the energy. As Jimmy Butler missed a layup, Bam was right there to dunk it back in. When Bam Adebayo went up, he not only dunked on Al Horford, but he even dunked on Jimmy Butler. After Bam came back down, he accidentally sent Jimmy Butler flying, in addition to getting Al Horford cleared.
