Atlanta church played Swag Surfin to ring in the New Year
Every church celebrates differently, but many people have disputed this one. Some churches have become increasingly secular, over the years. However, this has had a lot of people talking. To ring in 2024, there was a church that was playing “Swag Surfin.” Not only were they playing the song, but also, the preachers were also doing the dance.
When it comes to religion and the church, the rules are strict. While churches are inclusive and working to be more so, some rules never change. It’s said that there is a time and a place for everything. Even people who go to church are allowed to dance and have a good time. However, that is never acceptable inside of the church, according to what the Bible says.
In Atlanta, it’s said that things are done differently. According to the people at this church, things are done differently at their church. They were celebrating the New Year, in some form of Watch Night. As the year of 2024 came in, they played “Swag Surfin.” Everybody inside of the church was doing the dance, including the people who were on the pulpit, who delivered the Word.
