#JusticeForTylek: Tylek Marshall, a Georgia high school graduate, was brutally beaten by grown white men, for attending graduation party, smashing Marshall’s hand in his truck door jam, and when reported to the law enforcement, his father was told they have “more important cases” [PHOTO]

Tylek Marshall is a young man, who just graduated from high school, in Miller County, Georgia. Attending a graduation party, with friends, mostly white, he was confronted by adults who told him he didn't belong there. Arguing ensued, and Tylek Marshall attempted to get into his vehicle, and leave, but the adults cornered and beat him, even closing his hand into the door jam, leaving his hand bloodied, and feeling lost in one finger. While his friends tried to help him, he was still beaten, with one friend managing to drive him home. Marshall's father spoke out, saying he notified local law enforcement, only for them to get back to him late, later telling him they were focused on "more important" cases.

It’s bad enough that Coronavirus has pretty much ruined the year, in terms of socializing, but it has ruined the rituals of completing high school.
