Last week, Stayvon Varner was running late for an important meeting, so he decided to pass two cars. According to his Facebook status, he was in a 45 mph zone, but he wanted to drive 50 mph. One of the cars he passed was an officer for the city of Charleston, but they were in Dorchester County, South Carolina, not in the Charleston jurisdiction. When he passed the Charleston police car, the officer began to harass him, threatening him, when he pulled him over, and then threw up the "white power" symbol, as he drove away.
