Tiara McCants Hall shared to Facebook the story of her trying to help her son, Michael, get his first job. McCants Hall knew the manager and had her son connect with the manager, who set up a meeting, which her son arrived early for, only for the manager to be a no-show. Later, the woman's son was told the job he applied for was no longer available, but he could get on as a dishwasher. Sensing something not being right, Tiara called, posing as a teenage white girl, speaking with the same manager, who then scheduled a meeting with her, stating the job she told her son wasn't available was still available.
