Shakia Harris speaks out about being repeatedly told she couldn’t vote in Shelbyville, Kentucky, as she was told she wasn’t registered with a political party, but she was, and when she spoke out, Sue Carole Perry, the county Clerk of Court, accused her of “stirring the pot,” racially, and said she could have leaked her audio, but didn’t want to embarrass her, in Facebook message [PHOTOS/VIDEO]

Shakia Harris is a teacher, who resides in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Last week, she hoped to vote during the Kentucky Primary Elections. However, when she tried to, she was turned away, because she was told that she wasn't registered with a political party, and only members of the Democratic, or Republican parties could vote. Even when she gave her ID, letting them know she was a registered Democrat, she was turned away. When one woman was trying to let her vote, another woman came over, and turned her away, but when Harris said she would report the matter, she says they found her info, and allowed her to vote. Still, Harris spoke out, only for the county clerk of court to message her on Facebook, asking her what the problem was, when she was allowed to vote, even going as far as saying that she could have leaked how Harris was acting on Facebook.
