Al B. Sure says he spoke with Andre Harrell about the Uptown Records documentary, before his death, and Harrell asked him to do the soundtrack, but that he’s been excluded from everything, since his death, and those in charge are acting like he wasn’t even a part of Uptown

Al B. Sure spoke out about the upcoming Uptown Records documentary. He said that, before Andre Harrell's death, that the two of them spoke about this docu-series, and that Harrell wanted him to work on the soundtrack. However, since Andre Harrell's death, Al B. Sure! says he hasn't heard anything from the producers, and when he asked about being involved with the project, they told him everything was covered, and he's not even mentioned in the doc, despite being Uptown's first artist and the highest-selling, during his run with the label.
