OGPD’s Latest Mixtape “MPR” Is All About Fun And Hustle

OGPD’s latest mixtape MPR was released just last month, and like his other work, the project is a showcase of his authenticity and heritage as a New Yorker with roots in the Caribbean and ties to the South. The music brings all the vibes, encouraging people to “dance and feel good, but to also go out and get it”, according to his words. His love and passion for the craft is laced in the music, as well as his hopes to inspire others to hustle– much as he does, being a fast-rising artist and entrepreneur.

Born and raised in the Bronx, OGPD grew up around music. “My dad was one of the biggest DJs in uptown New York in the early to mid-90s,” he reflects. After falling in love with music and the process of creating it, OGPD eventually moved to Atlanta, working behind-the-scenes and learning from music executives along the way. Now, he’s in front of the camera, and as he builds his collective “1050”, OGPD is tapping into other business ventures— from real estate, to apparel, to filmmaking and production.

“My long term goal is to make 1050 worldwide,” he says of the coming future, “and to be a mogul.” Through and through, OGPD emphasizes that what brought him to this point was hard work, dedication, and passion. “[I’m competing with] myself,” he asserts. “I’m always critiquing myself and pushing myself to be better.” With MPR, OGPD is urging others to do the same— and to have fun while doing it.

Stream MPR here and on all streaming platforms, and watch the latest visual for “24:7”, his hit single off the mixtape, below. Be sure to follow @_OGPD_ on Instagram to stay on top of his latest work and ventures.
