Last weekend in Miami, Free Bandz rapper, Zoey Dollaz was shot five times in his leg while inside his vehicle. This was after leaving Teyana Taylor’s birthday party. After that party, he was supposed to be on his way to a local strip club.
Zoey has since been recovering at a Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. On December 12, he was finally released, according to The Shade Room. Zoey also released a brief statement to the outlet regarding his status.
“I just want to thank everyone who’s prayed for my recovery.”
Zoey has been one of the hottest rising rappers in Miami over the last four years. He got his big breakthrough in 2015 with his “Blow A Check” single. He would go on to get signed by Future’s Free Bandz record label in the spring of 2016. Zoey also earned a deal with Epic Records. His last project was his ‘Last Year Being Humble’ album in summer 2019. This featured the singles “Highway Full of Pain.” Features included Gunna, Ink, Future, and Gashi.
