Young Thug’s Sophomore Album, “Punk,” Will Be Released on October 15

A few months ago, Young Thug had his NPR Tiny Desk performance, as it went viral. That came after the success of the YSL album, “Slime Language 2,” which became Thug’s second consecutive number one album. At the time, he revealed that his sophomore album, “Punk,” would be out sometime in October.

Now, his YSL label. has taken to Instagram to confirm that Punk will officially be out, on October 15. This was revealed in a post, where Thug’s Spotify numbers were shown. It displayed how Thug currently has over 33 million monthly listeners, on that streaming platform. This is the 59th most monthly streams in the world.

One of the songs already released from Punk, is “Tick Tock.””Die Slow,” “Hate The Game,” and “Droppin Jewels,” are all expected to appear on Punk as well.

Thug’s last solo album came in August 2019, with “So Much Fun.” That album debuted at number one, on the Billboard 200 chart. It it also currently platinum in the US.
