In 2013, Young Thug saw his name really grow, as he began appearing on tracks with Gucci Mane. Soon, this led to Young Thug working closely with Birdman and Cash Money Records. This ended up being one of the reasons Birdman and Lil Wayne clashed.
Young Thug became one of 2014’s biggest breakout artists. However, he did not have as big of a year in 2015 as he and his fans originally expected. Still, Young Thug is working and he has a much bigger 2016 in store.
