Over a week ago, Young Thug released his second album this year, with “Punk” this project contained 20 tracks, with huge appearances from J. Cole, Drake, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Mac Miller, and XXXTentacion.

Punk has been red-hot, and is now the number one album in the US. According to Chart Data, it’s at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, with 90,000 units sold, in its first week. 12,000 were in pure sales, and 102 million on-demand streams were accumulated.

In the summer, Thug and his YSL record label topped the Billboard 200, with their “Slime Language 2.” In total, Thug has had three consecutive number one albums. His previous studio album was “So Much Fun,” in August 2019.

Punk also took over the top spot from Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy,” which was number one last week for the fourth time. That is still the longest-running number one album of 2021.
