In 2012, Young Scooter began to make his mark on the mixtape game. His tracks were showing up on all the hottest DJs’ mixtapes and he had co-signs from Rocko and Future, appearing on their music, too. By the time 2013 came, Young Scooter was well on his way to becoming the next breakout star.
Young Scooter dealt with a setback that had him sidelined for most of 2013, but now he is back. Once again, he is showing up on all the top mixtapes and his music is picking up on the mainstream level. This has happened because Young Scooter has collaborations with many major label artist.
In the latest clip from his interview with VladTV, Young Scooter ended up talking about his collaborations. Different artists have different ways of getting their collaborations. But, in the case of Young Scooter, he explained that his method is going to the artist directly, as opposed of going through labels.
