Among the hottest rappers in Atlanta is Young Scooter. Boasting affiliations with the Future-led Freebandz Gang, Young Scooter soon caught the attention of Gucci Mane. By the end of last summer, Gucci Mane announced Young Scooter was one of the newest members of 1017 Brick Squad.
Young Scooter has refrained from claiming one label or movement as him being a member of. Instead, Young Scooter maintains affiliations with his several Atlanta-based record labels. While not saying he is a member of the crew, Young Scooter instead likens himself as the leader of Black Migo Gang.
Currently in prison and rumored to be locked up until December, Young Scooter released a letter to his fans. Initially, Young Scooter planned to release Juughouse on July 2. But, due to his ongoing situation, Young Scooter decided to release Street Lottery 2 on July 4.
