While known for being one of the more agressive rappers in the game, Young Jeezy has shown fans his softer side. In 2007, he released his “Dreamin'” single, which featured then-girlfriend, Keyshia Cole. The song showed Young Jeezy’s emotional side, as he rapped about his ambition, his mother, and his past.

Returning to the forefront of the rap game, Young Jeezy has been making his rounds, as he prepares for the release of his fourth studio album, Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition. Recently, he was asked how he felt about emotional rappers, such as Drake. Last year, the two collaborated on Drake’s debut, Thank Me Later.

Discussing Drake, Young Jeezy said hip hop has always been emotional. During his interview with NecoleBitchie.com, Young Jeezy revealed he is an emotional rapper. Despite his rough rhymes, Jeezy said his rhymes are emotional. On his songs, Young Jeezy says he allows the listeners to feel his pain, stress, and anxiety. All of this leads to his music coming off as aggressive.

Earlier in his career, Young Jeezy was known for his relationship with Keyshia Cole. There were rumors about the two getting married, in 2008. Those rumors proved to be false and the two soon ended their relationship. Keyshia Cole eventually ended up dating NBA player, Daniel Gibson, gave birth to his child, and then married him. When asked about his own marriage, Young Jeezy said it would have to wait on his career, as he needed a woman who would really ride with him, as others have let him down.
