It’s now been over 24 hours, since hip-hop lost Young Dolph, to a shooting in his hometown of Memphis. The Paper Route Empire rapper was shot dead at Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies. He was said to have been at that store, to purchase cookies for his mother.
Surveilance footage has since shown two males open fire at the store, targeting Dolph. They were seen in hoodies, COVID-19 masks, and a Bass Pro Shops hat. The two were shooting what are apparently a pistol, and AK-47 Draco. Currently, Memphis police haven’t made any arrests.
Dolph was at Makeda’s in a camo Corvette Stingray, and he was at a local gas station, prior to his life being taken, per TMZ. Footage has surfaced, where the Memphis native is seen pumping gas, into the luxury vehicle. After making the stop at Makeda’s, Dolph was supposed to host a turkey giveaway, at 2PM.
As far as Dolph’s alleged murderers, an employee at Makeda’s claimed that they left the scene, in a light-colored Mercedes. There has since been no motives revealed, for the shooting. Makeda’s has also since been boarded up, in the aftermath of the incident.
