Last week, Young Dolph returned for the sequel to he and Key Glock’s 2019 “Dum and Dummer 2” mixtape. This project contained 20 tracks in total as fans of the Memphis rappers heavily approved of this project. Now, Dolph is claiming that he is moving on from music again.
Dolph recently took to his Instagram feed to reveal that he is retiring from rap once again. He did this in early 2020 as well as he cited how he wanted to spent more time with his children. Dolph explained that “Dum and Dummer 2” was his final project as a rapper.
“I hope y’all enjoying the new mixtape, it’s my last project putting out,” said Dolph. “I wasn’t gonna tell y’all but i thought y’all should know im done with music.”
Obviously, Dolph didn’t stick to his retirement plans the first time as last year, he also put out his “Rich Slave” album, which went on to debut at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. That was led by singles such as “RNB” feat. Megan Thee Stallion, “Blue Diamonds” and “Large Amounts.”
While it’s debatable if Dolph is actually retiring this time, he is still promoting this “Dum and Dummer 2” mixtape. As a promotion for this project, he is doing a $100,000 giveaway where $25,000 will be handed out each week for four weeks. It all started four days ago as Dolph asked the first person to email him the 10,888th word that is said on the lyrics of the entire mixtape.
