While 50 Cent was still on the comeup, he ran across some grinders from various places. When he went down South, 50 Cent ran into the likes of Juvenile and his UTP camp. At the time, Young Buck was a part of UTP, but hit it off with 50 Cent.

It was only a matter of time before 50 Cent and Young Buck began working together. Soon, Young Buck was a part of G-Unit and even had his own label under G-Unit Records. However, their relationship went sour in 2007-2008, but Young Buck returned to the fold in 2014.

Young Buck got out of prison in 2013, spending a year behind bars. In the time since he was released from prison, Young Buck spent most of this time hanging out with some of the biggest marijuana smokers on the planet. Hanging out with Snoop Dogg, Young Buck smoked with him, which is a violation of his probation and he could be facing prison time.
