Young Buck disses Rick Ross on “Loco,” after almost joining MMG in 2012, in the aftermath of 50 Cent’s trial against Lavonia Leviston

Hip hop fans know the history of G-Unit and the tension that built between Young Buck and 50 Cent. While Young Buck was officially ousted from G-Unit in 2008, 50 Cent had issues with him dating back to 2006. In the following years, Young Buck was stuck on the G-Unit label roster.

Rick Ross championed many of 50 Cent’s rivals against him, as he waged his own war with 50. In 2011, Rick Ross saw his popularity swell, giving him tons of momentum in 2012. During this period of time, Young Buck began hanging out with him and representing Maybach Music.

Ultimately, Young Buck reunited with 50 Cent and went back to being diehard for G-Unit. In the meantime, 50 Cent’s old beef with Rick Ross resurfaced when Lavonia Leviston sued him for $5 million over him leaking her old sextape and they went to court. At one point, 50 Cent was facing over $20 million to pay her, but he only has to pay $2 million in addition to the initial $5 million after the final ruling, prompting Young Buck to diss Rick Ross on “Loco.”
