Last year, YNW Melly was one of the biggest emerging artists in the game. However, he soon found himself caught under fire, being accused of murdering his own friend. The rapper was accused of discussing it on his “Murder On My Mind” song.
YNW Melly has since been behind bars, as he awaits trial. The young rapper is going about hiring his legal team, bringing in one proven winner. Five years ago, Boosie Badazz put together a legal team that got him out of prison, after spending five years in.
Preparing for his upcoming trial, YNW Melly has tapped one of the members of Boosie’s legal team. He brought in the lawyer that led the team for Boosie. If history holds, YNW Melly will be a free man, but of course, history isn’t going to help him sway the jury, one way or the other, especially with another person.
