Singer YK Osiris has had a good 2019 for himself as he signed to Def Jam and had a Billboard-charting single with “Worth It.” Now, the Jacksonville native is running into some serious legal trouble regarding domestic violence involving his girlfriend.
According to TMZ, Osiris is being charged with a felony charge of aggravated assault by strangulation. He was arrested Monday in Atlanta. The police report stated that Osiris girlfriend told police in September that she got into a physical altercation at his birthday party.
Things ended at the party with Osiris allegedly choking her and biting her face. It supposedly stated after she confronted him about having a picture of other woman on his phone with a towel on. They started telling at each other with Osiris saying he was going to “slap the s*it out of her.”
Osiris’ girlfriend was then chased to the bathroom. From that point, the choking and biting happened. She was able to bite his lip to get him off of her.
As of now, Osiris, doesn’t have any bond amount set. He will have a preliminary hearing this month at the Fulton County Courthouse.
