YG shows off new Slim 400 tribute tattoo

YG gets Slim 400 tattoo

In December, Slim 400 was shot and killed in Inglewood, which is near Los Angeles. Footage that leaked displayed the Compton rapper speaking with a man, and that’s when several shots were fired. Slim went on to succumb to his injuries, at a local hospital.

Slim survived being shot nine times back in 2019, but unfortunately, wasn’t able to pull through, that time. According to TMZ, police say that there was a “raging gang war” between the Bloods and Crips, and that Slim’s situation was simply “wrong place wrong time.”

YG was also very close with Slim 400, and was very quiet online, following his death. Many assumed that YG simply decided to grieve quietly. Now, the fellow Compton native is showing off a Slim 400 tribute tattoo, that he recently got done. It displays the “4 Hunnid” logo, as well as Slim’s face.

YG’s caption also said “@Slim400Blk Brazy Blood, Love you P Treez!”

Last month, YG also released a new single, “Scared Money.” This also featured J. Cole and Moneybagg Yo, as YG is getting ready to put out his upcoming sixth studio album, “Pray For Me.” An official release date hasn’t been made public by YG, though.
