Until this season, Yandy and Mendeecees were the model couple on VH1 ratings hit, “Love & Hip Hop.” While the couple faced its fair share of drama this past season, they still were the “safe” couple. In the end, love won out and now they are getting married.
Immediately after the end of season five, VH1 announced Yandy and Mendeecees would have a wedding special airing on Memorial Day. In an interview, Erica Mena said the wedding special was originally for her and Bow Wow. Since then, Mendeecees got a sentence to return to prison.
Currently free, Mendeecees joined Yandy at Hot 97 to speak to Ebro and Laura Stylez. Their interview saw them talking about their wedding and the VH1 special. Also, Erica Mena’s comments were brought up and Yandy addressed the claims of her receiving “special treatment” from the rest of the show’s cast.
