Over the past couple of months, Xzibit has been more visible than usual, as he was promoting his new album, Napalm. During his media run, Xzibit stopped by and spoke here with Hip Hop Vibe about his upcoming project. His first album in six years, Xzibit has managed to keep up, featuring the likes of Game and Wiz Khalifa onNapalm.
Xzibit has done countless interviews discussing the Napalm album and leaked several songs off the album. Most of the leaks from Napalm were met with a positive reception from the public. One of hip hop’s unique figures, Xzibit fills a large void. During the summer, Xzibit recaptured the attention of the hip hop community and during the fall, he delivered a new CD for the world to bump to.
Today, October 9, 2012, has been a big day for hip hop. At midnight, Rick Ross started the day on a positive note with the release of The Black Bar Mitzvah. Machine Gun Kelly, Bad Boy Records’ latest star, would release his highly-anticipated album, Lace Up, today. It was only right for Mr. X to the Z to also make a major impact with the release of Napalm.
