The past few years have seen Wyclef Jean really paying the price of fame. His career began in the late 1980s, but he became a true force during the mid-1990s. First, he offered The Fugees, which would see the rise of Lauryn Hill to prominence.
Because of some choices he made, Wyclef became a victim of bad press, but he remains positive. Even when things get tough, a positive outlook will always help, until things get better. Facing adversity, Wyclef has returned with a new project.
Wyclef Jean stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” speaking with Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God. Despite DJ Envy not being present, Wyclef still spoke for a long period of time. Discussion centered around the J’ouvert EP, The Fugees, Lauryn Hill, Big Pun, performing at John F. Kennedy, Jr.’s funeral, the Wu-Tang Clan, Young Thug, and much more.
