Travis Scott continues to receive tons of backlash, due to nine people dying, at his Astroworld festival. Lawsuits continue to pile on, as the Houston rapper is remaining low key, since the tragedies unfolded. Travis is also said to have been in his home, ever since the festival ended.
Now, it appears that people are taking to the streets, to voice their concern against Travis. One woman recently showed up at his home, holding various signs. One said “Travis lives here” and “You destroyed lives, you deserve bankruptcy.”
One of the signs also tagged Kylie Jenner, Drake, Live Nation, Apple Music, which also said they deserve to go bankrupt. This woman ended up speaking to ABC 13 in Houston, and explained that how organizers and officials failed to keep attendees safe, at Astroworld Fest.
“It was multiple levels of failure, by the event organizers, the performers, officials. Local city ordinances and permits were clearly overlooked, security protocols were clearly not implemented when this was declared a mass casualty incident. That’s why I’m here.”
The woman also claimed that none of the people involved in the festival have apologized, such as Travis, Drake, Live Nation, and NRG Park.
“I think these parties should go bankrupt. I haven’t seen an apology from any of the parties involved, and I understand they’re probably tight-lipped for legal purposes, but this was a mass loss of life for a concert. And it was completely preventable.”
Other critics hope that Travis loses endorsement deals, such as his Nike collaboration, where he has his own various Jordan sneakers. Fortnite also removed his emote character, from their video game.
