Retired bank teller, Lynn Fleming, had dreams of moving from her longtime home of Pittsburgh to Tampa, Florida. After all, Florida is one of the closest places to paradise in America. If she were to move there, she would be far from the first or last retiree to move to Florida.

With her son, Wade Fleming, Lynn went down to Coquina Beach, where they took in a beach day. Unfortunately, Lynn Fleming lost her balance, and fell into the ocean water. The fall produced a wound, which began to bleed and swell, leading her to go to Urgent Care.

Later, Lynn Fleming was taken to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with a flesh-eating disease. Already, she received her tetanus shot, at Urgent Care. After suffering from two strokes and organ failure, Lynn Fleming passed away at the age of 77, making her the second death, this summer, from the same bacteria.
