Last August, Cardi B dropped one of the biggest records of her career, with “WAP” feat. Megan Thee stallion. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and is currently 6x platinum in the US.
WAP is still massively popular in the US at this point in 2021 as well. A woman even played it loudly, (the explicit version) with her kids, at a local pool in Tamaqua. This occurred last Friday, close to 3:15pm.
According to Yahoo!, Stephanie Crute was at the Bungalow Pool, and had police called on her about the loud music. Tamaqua Police Chief Michael Hobbs went on to claim that they were asked to leave, but refused.
Crute soon pushed and officer who wasn’t looking, and punched other officers and pool visitors. Her 11-year-old daughter pushed an officer as well, in an attempt to prevent an arrest from happening.
Crute was eventually put in handcuffs, but kicked another officer while being put into a patrol car. That officer ended up being treated at a local hospital for injuries.
Crute was booked at Schuylkill County Prison on charges of felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault, resisting arrest, summary harassment and disorderly conduct. She went on to post 10% of the $25,000 bond. The 11-year-old is currently living with her father. A preliminary hearing for Crute is scheduled for August 3.
