What has separated Wiz Khalifa from the number of other new artists who have entered the game since 2010 is his business mind. A popular mixtape rapper for years, Rick Ross had chosen Wiz Khalifa to spearhead his Maybach Music movement. Despite being a huge fan of Rick Ross and his movement, Wiz Khalifa turned him down and signed with Atlantic Records.
Fast forward two years and Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang imprint could give Maybach Music a run for its money, given the artists added to the roster. To introduce the world to the new artists on the Taylor Gang label, Wiz Khalifa has a compilation album planned. When he spoke with Vlad TV about this, Wiz Khalifa said the compilation album will follow his second solo album.
During the interview, Wiz Khalifa also discussed the number of new artists he has signed to Taylor Gang.
