Wiz Khalifa debuts at number two on Billboard with “O.N.I.F.C”

Wiz Khalifa 3December has lived up to the hype, as the rappers who promised albums this month actually delivered. Wiz Khalifa is among the rappers that sent release dates for the holiday season. O.N.I.F.C. was announced around this time last year and Wiz Khalifa spent a year making new music.

In the spring of 2012, Wiz Khalifa released “Work Hard, Play Hard,” the first single off his O.N.I.F.C. album. During the summer, Wiz Khalifa released the official remix of the track, which featured Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy. The official second single from the album was “Remember You,” with The Weeknd.

Wiz Khalifa continued to release new music and released O.N.I.F.C. last week. The album was projected to sell around 130,000 copies in its first week. O.N.I.F.C.‘s projections were a bit lower than Rolling Papers‘ first week numbers. Now, the official results are in and O.N.I.F.C. debuted behind only Taylor Swift on Billboard with 131,213 copies sold in its first week.
