Wrapping up season one, “Tales” was given two hours, and they’ve gone all out with the casting. Tonight’s episode is based on Method Man’s “All I Need” single, featuring Mary J. Blige. The episode begins, following a girl named Diamond (Kyndall) with a man named Taggert.

Taggert (Jim Jones) says all the right things to Diamond, but he said them in a harsh way. It was quickly understood that she likes cutting herself and Taggert demands she stops. Forced to call him “Daddy,” she runs away and meets Kenny (Demetrius Shipp, Jr.).

After Taggert and his goons came into Kenny’s house and took Diamond, real name Nina, he snatched her. After getting back with Taggert, he was on top of her, forcing her to call him “Daddy.” The fans had a lot of questions about why Nina was still letting herself go through this, then he told the uncle story.
