Nowadays, people are more open with their racism, and that has to change. A few years ago, people at least pretended to have empathy, when a black person was killed. Now, for every death, there are immediate “Blue Lives Matter” and “All Lives Matter” comments.
Even worse, people who are simply working, trying to make a living are being harassed. One stereotype is that people of color don’t work and live off the government. A group of men debunked that theory and got cursed out for their efforts.
In Orlando, a landscaping crew was working in a neighborhood, when an older white woman demanded they leave. Because they were working, the men refused to leave, with one man trying to talk to her, one-on-one. For his effort, he was repeatedly called “f*cking n*gger b*tch,” and then the neighbors came out, defending them, so she called the neighbor “f*cking b*tch,” repeatedly, until challenging one man to hit her.
