Mannn, “Atlanta” is sooo funny, and tonight’s episode is one of the funniest ones yet. This one is right up there with the “Alligator Man” season premiere, and the “Black Justin Bieber” episode. The funniest thing about it is that it’s really like that.
Last season saw Earn (Childish Gambino) trying to make money. This season shows Earn making money and now he wants to celebrate by bringing his girl, Vanessa (Zazie Beetz), out on the town. But, everywhere he goes, people are playing him.
When he tried to take Vanessa to the movies, Earn went to pay with a $100 bill. The girl at the counter told Earn that they don’t accept bills that large, so he tries his debit card, and she tells him she needs copies of his ID, causing him to walk off. As he leaves, a white man pays with a $100 bill, and when Earn goes to question him, he casually flashes him his gun, and Twitter is in shambles.
