Some time ago, Wendy Williams’ son and soon-to-be ex husband got into an altercation in the parking lot of a Krauszer’s Food Stores. Kevin Hunter Jr. was arrested and charged with assault.
Both Kevin Hunter senior and his son appeared in court at the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office when Jr. pled not guilty. Kevin Hunter Jr.’s lawyer told TMZ that his father will not press charges against his son. He also went to state that he is looking “forward to resolving this case favorably and believe that the case will be resolved in that manner so that my client can enter into his Sophomore year of college with no distractions.” Kevin Jr. was charged with simple assault.
The prosecutor in the domestic violence case, Joseph Wenzel, has requested more time to look over the case. He told news that he will take Kevin Hunter senior not wanting to press charges into consideration.
“At the end of the day I have to make the call about what’s in the best interest of justice.”
