Rapper Goonew’s corpse was on display at Bliss Nightclub funeral

A few weeks ago, popular 24-year-old Washington D.C. rapper, Goonew, was shot and killed. This was said to be in the District Heights area, according to TMZ. Goonew’s family stated that this was an armed robbery incident, as he gave up everything that was requested, but still ended up being shot in the back.

Last night though, Goonew was honored in a very unusual way, in his hometown. This went down at Bliss Nightclub, where his corpse was proped up, for everyone in the venue to see. The funeral was held there, as it was titled The Final Show.

Goonew was dressed in a crown, with some of his jewelry on, as well as an Amiri hoodie. There was said to have been a mixed reaction, with people enjoying themselves, and others staring oddly at Goonew’s corpse. Bliss has since claimed that they didn’t know that this tribute would be made. They are also still looking into if the corpse was actually real.

As of now, Prince George’s County PD is offering a $25,000 reward, for information that leads to the arrest of Goonew’s killer or killers.
