When Kevin Durant signed with the Golden State Warriors, fans knew something was going to change. Many felt like the clash would come between Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, as the stars. But, with scorers like that, both have room to flourish.
Klay Thompson is also a scorer, but as the 2016 NBA Finals showed, he can be very streaky. Tonight, this showed and having to share the ball with Kevin Durant did, too. Without question, the Spurs dominated the Warriors and Klay was dominated.
All the debates of Klay Thompson being better than Kawhi Leonard has gone out the window. Now, Warriors fans feel that Klay Thompson is the third wheel, not the third closer. Some have gone to Twitter and suggested Golden State even trade Klay to bolster the bench.
