Before Meek Mill’s prison sentence, during the summer of 2014, things became odd between him and Wale. A couple of years before this, fans said there was a beef between the MMG rappers. This was something constantly dismissed, especially by Rick Ross, their crew leader.
But, there was no denying Meek Mill’s rant about Wale not genuinely supporting him and his music. Then, last summer, when Meek Mill was going at Drake, Wale shared an Instagram photo with him. Again, there was no denying what happened.
Wale recently did a media run, where he now gets to speak on all of this and Hot 97’s morning trio, Ebro, Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez got to speak with him about it. Their interview touched on the current Meek Mill relationship, before eventually shifting to his rants on social media. He also discussed his relationship with Jay Z and Roc Nation, as he tries to get WizKid to join.
