In a pack of giants, Wale managed to release a number one album. Even those who don’t listen to Wale like that have to respect him and his team. Wale is with Maybach Music, but he is managed by Roc Nation. With the marketing of this album, The Gifted, Wale embraced these connections.
Dropping in the midst of J. Cole, Kanye West, and Jay-Z, Wale managed to still get a number one album. Well, the rest of the team has too, but it doesn’t make it any less impressive. Roc Nation continues to post wins and Wale now has “Love/Hate Thing” with Sam Dew taking over the game.
Out promoting his album, Wale made a stop to Shade 45. Talking to Sway Calloway for his show, “Sway in the Morning,” Wale came with Fat Trel and Black Cobain. Wale talked about The Gifted and then he did an in-studio performance of “Love/Hate Thing.”
