Wale flips on “The Breakfast Club,” talks new music, new girlfriend, and more [VIDEO]

Strategically, Maybach Music did make a mistake, regarding Wale, early in the run. In 2011, Wale signed with Rick Ross’ label, a move that many questioned, but it paid off. Signed, Wale hit the ground running, immediately posting hit records.

At a time when Fabolous’ career was on the decline, Wale came in and filled that void. Hype was huge for him, as Wale looked like the next major star in the game. Promising an album in 2012, Wale was forced to wait, and his 2013 run just wasn’t the same.

Wale, however, still has hits, and his 2019 run is showing he is still a viable star in the game. Recently, Wale did his media rounds for his newest album, sitting down with “The Breakfast Club.” During the interview, he spoke with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God about his music, his girlfriend, and more.
