In the 2010-2011 period, Waka Flocka Flame was one of the biggest breakout artists in the industry. But, Waka Flocka truly became a household name when Drake jumped on “Round of Applause.” This concluded a legendary run with Gucci Mane.
Waka Flocka Flame made many classic records with French Montana and also worked with the likes of Future, 2 Chainz, and Ace Hood. But, he would soon take a hiatus from the game. When he returned, Flocka showed up with Steve Aoki.
The past year has seen Waka Flocka constantly on the road and he is touring with DJ Whoo Kid. They have broken the record, “Big Dawg,” while on the road and the song is doing well. Recently, Waka Flocka performed the song and shared the footage from it on Instagram, saying people like this record how they did “Hard In The Paint.”
