In 2003, 50 Cent emerged as the biggest new artist out and he did so in convincing fashion. It’s always big when a new artist successfully takes on the biggest rapper in the game, Ja Rule, and headlines a tour with the other biggest rapper in the game, Jay Z. 50 Cent made a lasting impact.
Another move 50 Cent made that was big, in terms of his own relevance was the women in his life. Early in his career, he was romantically tied to Mya, but he was actually dating Vivca A. Fox, at the time one of the biggest actresses in Hollywood. Their relationship was later spoofed in the “Do You Think About Me” music video.
Vivca A. Fox talked about her history with 50 Cent on “The Meredith Viera Show.” In the interview, Vivica A. Fox even broke down and cried, despite breaking up with 50 Cent over a decade ago. She spoke on how he was the love of her life, but just wasn’t the right man for her.
