On Saturday night, Verzuz returned with another battle as this time, it featured two hip-hop legends in Raekwon and Ghostface Killah. Hip-Hop heads everywhere appreciated this underrated matchup and there are more that have been announced coming up. This is all while Verzuz is in season 2, which kicked off back on November 19 as that was a memorable night between Gucci Mane and Jeezy. Twitch also recently bought Verzuz as that app will be airing all battles now as well.
Coming up on April 4, which is Easter Sunday, that will feature the iconic groups, Earth, Wind and Fire, and The Isley Brothers. There is also a “How High” 4/20 special which will have legendary duos go one on one in Method Man and Redman.
Other key dates were revealed but the names of the artist are still a mystery. These include May 8, a Mother’s Day special on May 9, a rematch between one of the previous battles on Memorial Day weekend, a TBA date after, a “Ladies Night,” and one more battle that is TBA.
