They grabbed him, one man put his entire body weight on his neck, while another yelled "get a noose," as they attempted to kill him. Bystanders refused to let this happen, saving Booker's life, and he called the authorities, who refused to arrest the men.

Currently, there is a post on Facebook going viral from Vauhxx Rush Booker, a man who is fortunate to be alive. He is happy to be alive, but highly upset at what happened. This man is truly a victim of racism, but he refused to let it define him.

Walking with friends to a lake beach, Vauhxx Rush Booker was preparing to go to a summer party. The plan was to watch the sky, for a special sunset. However, an encounter with a drunken white man, on an ATV, changed things, as he told them they were on private property.

Vauhxx Rush Booker tried to take the public exit, after the event, but it was blocked off by other white men, on ATVs. Soon, Booker was being chased by the men, and ended up being beaten by five white men, one of whom stood on his neck, putting his entire weight on it. Another screamed “grab a noose,” as Booker recounted all of this for Facebook, saying he contacted authorities who refused to arrest the men.
