There is a wave going on in Harlem and a part of this movement is Vado, who captured many of the major headlines early this year. After being out of the game for some time, despite the Interscope Records deal, Vado returned in January. Slime Flu 3 became a street classic and Vado regained his place in the headlines.
Before the other New York rappers gained attention, Vado appeared to be the guy who would put the city back on the map. Better late than never, Vado is now in a good position to do just that as a member of DJ Khaled’s We the Best Music Group. Many anticipated and enjoyed the Vado/Ace Hood collaborations.
Vado recently performed at S.O.B.’s in New York City and ITSBIZKIT TV was on the scene to talk to him. As the newest member of DJ Khaled’s We the Best Music Group, Vado opened up on what this experience has been like. During the interview, Vado also revealed he planned to release a new song and music video daily, and the possibility of reality television, since his name keeps coming up on VH1.
