The number of killings are alarming, but not surprising. After there murders of Michael Brown and Eric Garner with no punishment served, people were bound to take matters into their own hands. This was pondered by Uncle Murda in his “Hands Up” single with Maino.
Uncle Murda talked to Hip Hop Vibe at the beginning of this year, when he was pushing his GMG compilation mixtape. The Brooklyn rapper has made a lot of moves, albeit behind the scenes. He has become very vocal in the wake of everything going on.
Recently, Uncle Murda stopped by Arise360 and he talked about the new single. With so much killing going on, it made sense for Uncle Murda to be the one to discuss the situation, as he grew up in the streets. But, he mostly spoke about the single he has with Maino, which has been out for a few weeks.
