Brooklyn’s Uncle Murda really got people talking towards the end of 2014, with his “Hands Up” record with Maino. His song came in response to the ruling following Eric Garner being murdered by the NYPD. This song led to Uncle Murda doing tons of media behind it.

Uncle Murda is back in the headlines behind this record and he took time out to do the “2014 Wrap Up.” Early in 2014, Uncle Murda talked to Hip Hop Vibe’s DJ Louie Styles about life in Brooklyn. A lot has changed since that conversation.

Hot 97 had Uncle Murda this morning and he talked to Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez about everything surrounding him. In the interview, Uncle Murda talked about his 2014 rap up and Mad Skillz. But, the conversation centered more around his issues with NYPD, the “Hands Up” record with Maino, and the overall situation regarding the urban community and law enforcement.
