Over the past decade, most companies have gone all in on diversity. The 2010s began a serious conversation about race, but it evolved into body types, sexuality, and gender diversity. UGG took a major step in the right direction, when they shared the above photo.

What the mass media has often overlooked is that people come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. The traditional standard of beauty does not fit the woman in the above photo. However, that does not mean that the woman in the above photo is not a beautiful woman.

This morning, UGG shared the photo of this woman, on their Facebook page. With her photo being shared on such a huge page, the woman was clearly excited to have her photo up there. However, the photo would soon end up being removed from UGG’s Facebook. On Twitter, the woman, who goes by @luhshawnays, revealed the post was removed. One of the replies said that the photo was likely removed, due to people leaving negative comments about her.
