Met with strong commercial success, Tyga released his official debut album last winter, early in 2012. At the time, Tyga was riding the success of his “Rack City” single and his album, Careless World: Rise of the Last King, did well. Tyga has had minimal success in the time since “Rack City” was released, but has done songs with Big Sean and others.
Due to being on the Young Money roster, Tyga has continued to be in the public eye through his affiliations. Currently, Young Money is receiving positive press over Drake and his Nothing Was the Same album, while Lil Wayne is facing a backlash over his negative Miami comments. Tyga, on the other hand, is preparing his album.
Next month is when Tyga initially intended to release Hotel California. The album recently faced a delay. Last week, the album was announced to be released on April 9 and there has been a lot of talk about the delays. VIBE TV recently talked to Tyga about his upcoming Hotel California album and his delay.
